With the shoes in demand and shoes that are already selling out, retailers are being forced to offer new shoes for a discounted price.
However, some people have taken a look at the market and found that some of the shoes are already being sold out.
“They’re being sold online, they’re being bought at stores, they are on clearance sites,” said Claire Gower from The Shoe Warehouse in Dublin.
“I think it’s not the right time to sell them, it’s time to get some new ones.”
“You don’t want to be buying a new pair of shoes every week, you want to have them in good condition and in good quality.”
In fact, there are some shoes that aren’t being sold in Ireland and some that are being sold but at a higher price than they were on clearance.
There are shoes that have a limited lifespan and if you’re looking for a new model, then they are a good option.
“We have two or three of these in stock at the moment, and if they do sell out I’ll get them for a fair price, so that’s what we’re doing, getting them into the hands of people,” she said.
However there are also shoes that may be too old for sale and have to be sent back.
Claire said the salespeople at The Shoebuy are always looking to help people out.
She said people have to remember that if you buy a new shoe, it has to be of the highest quality.
“If you’re buying shoes, then you need to know that it’s going to last you, it needs to have a good fit, it should be comfortable and it has got to be good for you.”
You can’t have one shoe and another shoe with different brands, they just aren’t good enough.
