A fan of Game of Thrones, former ‘Dredd’ actor and ‘Battlestar Galactica’ actor, Sean Tealale has been chosen to star in the first season of the new HBO series ‘Game Of Thrones’ in a guest role.
“Game of Throne,” which premieres this fall, will be Teale’s first television role in over a decade, following his performance as Stormtrooper Ser Barristan Selmy in the film ‘Blackwater,’ the first major television appearance for the actor since the ‘Dune’ franchise in the early 1990s.
Tealales character is known for his intense, but slightly cynical portrayal of his character, which includes a deep disdain for his superiors and a belief in his own potential.
“The world has been turned upside down by war,” he told EW.
“We have to rebuild.
We have to learn from each other, and try to make it work.
And we have to see what happens.
So far, it’s pretty much just been a disaster.
And I’m hoping this will be different.”
Teales role in the upcoming ‘Game’ is the first of several he will play in the series, which airs in 2019.
