The bape brand has been building its presence in New York City since 2012, but this year it will officially be located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick.
The Brooklyn location will be the first of the bape brands to be built in the United States.
According to the NY Post, Bape has announced a partnership with the New York City Transit Authority to allow the BESTBAPE shoe line to be used on public transit buses. The NYPD is already using BAPE sneakers in NYC and the bape brand will be used as part of the BART shuttle fleet.
The NYC transit agency plans to offer free BAPE shoes to commuters, which will be sold to anyone who walks by a BAPE store.
BAPE will have over 50 brands on their line of Boots, but the brand is still expanding its reach with BASEBALL Shoes and HORNETSHOE Shoe.
There is a lot of buzz around the bape sport after the FIFA 2016 World Cup.
Bastille and Sparta sold out of their BAPE jerseys in less than 24 hours.
Sporting champs France have also sold out of their BASEPEAKE Shirts, and Bacampesa Shoots.
The NYC BAPE factory is set to open in October of 2019, with the first batch of BAPE products expected to be delivered to the US by 2019.
