On Thursday morning, a shoe storage shed in County Mayo exploded.

A woman who lives nearby said she was on her way home when she saw flames in the shed.

The shed was on fire at 6.20am and fire crews have since taken it out.

The woman was told by fire crews it was a gas leak.

The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.

Fire crews are also on scene to extinguish any other fire.

The woman who live in the building is not injured.
